There’s something about American actor Jeremy Strong that makes members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences weak in the knees. How else can one explain how the unassuming dude popped up in so many of Oscar’s Best Picture nominees — from 2012’s Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty to Selma (2014), The Big Short (2015) and The Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020). Could it be his alluring appeal? Before Strong was making a strong impression in Hollywood, he trained at Yale University in New Haven and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. After performing with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, the well-traveled thespian made his Broadway debut in the historical drama A Man for All Seasons (2008). Jeremy proceeded to reveal his range (as well as his chest) when he flashed his flesh in The Romantics (2010). Although the PG-13 rom-com stars Josh Duhamel and Katie Holmes, the true scene stealers are Jeremy’s nude glutes! Since then, he became a small screen staple. The boob tube bro scored recurring roles on various shows, including The Good Wife (2011-2013), Mob City (2013) and Masters of Sex (2016), before getting cast on the HBO hit Succession (2018-present).
