Succession (2018-2023)

After the success of The Sopranos, The Wire, Veep and Game of Thrones, next in line to become HBO's ratings goliath and Emmy Award juggernaut was the business drama Succession. Debuting in 2018 and lasting four seasons, the show notched 75 Primetime Emmy Awards during its run. Part business drama, part family drama, the show centered around a giant media and entertainment conglomerate called Waystar RoyCo who own everything from theme parks to a very Fox News like cable station called ATN. At the head of the company is the feisty but elderly Scottish immigrant Logan Roy (Brian Cox), but Logan is starting to slip in his old age which has everyone wondering who is going to take over the company. Logan's children would all like to take up the mantle. The families' candidate include Connor Roy (Alan Ruck), a flighty, borderline delusional eventual presidential candidate who lives in New Mexico, Kendall Roy (Jeremy Strong), the obvious answer due to his working for the company for so long if he wasn't both a drug addict and a bit of a coward, Shiv Roy (Sarah Snook), Logan's boss bitch daughter who leans a bit too far to the political left for Logan's liking, and Roman Roy (Kieran Culkin), the abrasive and obnoxious youngest sibling who shows a surprising amount of cultural understanding. For four seasons viewers watched the mix of business and family drama as the family attempted to take over the company, keep it from being sold, fight off business regulations, and deal with all sorts of surprises. Often compared to King Lear with a catchy theme song, Succession was wildly successful and is held up as one of the best TV shows of the 2000's. Ashley Zukerman plays a political journalist that Shiv sleeps with. We don't see his Zuker-manhood but do get a great shirtless shot of him and Shiv do the deed. Rob Yang doesn't show his wang, but we do get his chest while he lies in bed. The only skin we got on the show was from the Roy Boys: Kendall and Roman. Jeremy Strong shows his buns when he gets out of bed and peels the sheets off of his naked body. And that's when he's not tearing off his tuxedo to rail his wife on the stairs. Meanwhile, Kieran Culkin shows his ass when he's trying to have sex with a skinny babe but can't quite make it happen. Who cares about Waystar, the show is all about watching those hotties go all the way! Mr. Man would love to have either of the dudes from Succession over for a sex session!
