John Avery enjoyed a brief and fulfilling acting career that inexplicably ending a few decades ago. The sexy actor with all-American good looks made his acting debut with a guest spot on the boob tube sci-fi series Ark II which led him to a small role on the hit series Mary Tyler Moore.
