He plays an ex-con who is now free and enjoying a new lease on life when he connects with a kid from a broken home who reminds him a little bit of himself as a child. The two grow close and Palmer takes the kid under his wing to help set him on the right path in life. Yada yada yada, that's all nice - but we're here for the ass!
