Kings of Jo'Burg (2020)

Kings of Jo'Burg is a South African Netflix series that follows the rulers of Johannesburg's criminal underworld, the Masire brothers. But this is hardly a crime series. Kings of Jo'Burg mixes in elements of fantasy, complete with mermaids. Yes, it's a little unhinged, and we love it! Mogomosit (Zolisa Xaluva) is part of a crime family and we meet him when he's fresh out of ten years in the clink. While Mi is locked away, his brother Simon (Shona Ferguson) - married with a wife and a kiddo - falls for and marries Mo’s wife, Angela. But Mo Masires isn't here for the drama, and decides to distance himself from his crime past and settle down with a new lady friend. Not so fast! Turns out sweetie, his family has been cursed by a mermaid. It's that kind of day for Mo. The Masire family must face their cursed past if they want a future.. Abdul Khoza certainly isn't cursed, as he has an awesome, toned body, which he shows while showering in prison with a bunch of sexy men. King material!
