Lost (2004-2008)

Oh Lost, the series that made JJ Abrams a household name, a sometimes hated name, and gave you more "red herrings" than you could ever possibly follow in an hour long TV drama.  This wildly popular show was a legit phenomenon to network TV from 2004-2010, where is was one of the most watched and most talked about series, and made mega stars out of just about every single cast member.  The series kicks off with a brutal plane crash on a deserted island somewhere in the Pacific.  As the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 begin to piece together their skill set for survival on the beach and inlets of their lush and uninhabited island paradise, each episode begins to introduce the survivors one by one, but every single one of them have plenty of secrets in their past that they don't want the others to know about.  As this ragtag bunch of mysterious survivors begin to venture into the island, they realize that the island has more secrets than all of them put together.  There are numerical sequences seemingly hidden everywhere, a deadly security system, monsters lurking in the shadows, survivalists hunting them in the woods, secret bunkers, and cameras watching them at every turn!  They begin to work together over the course of their marooned adventure and the audience is left to determine what the big mystery of their island home is actually hiding from them and us along the way!  Buckle up for a wild ride that made more heads explode than Scanners (1981).  Along the way we get plenty of shirtless hunks like Josh Holloway and Matthew Fox, but we also get little tidbits like character actor M.C. Gainey kissing Will Allen in flashbacks through this one!
