Today's crush for Man Crush Monday is one that will soon have everyone talking again. I just saw his latest film and he's so fantastic in it that I wouldn't be surprised if he earned several award nominations when the season comes. He's sexy, he's gay, and he's super talented. Let's put a spotlight on our #MCM this week: Andrew Scott.

Man Crush Monday: Andrew Scott

Andrew Scott may not be a household name, but he has a very recognizable face. He played the villainous Jim Moriarty in Sherlock, C in Spectre, and most famously perhaps The Priest in Fleabag. He was so fantastic and seductive as a PRIEST in Phoebe Waller-Bridge's show that the internet dubbed him "Hot Priest". The forbidden love between the two had all of us dreaming of finding a Hot Priest of our own. Forgive my naughty thoughts, Father, for I have sinned...about you!

So where did this hottie come from? From Dublin, of course! He grew up in an average middle-class household and dabbled in acting as a teenager until he scored a role in the Irish film Korea in 1995 which led him to drop out of Trinity College and pursue acting full-time. Thank goodness he did! He steadily climbed the theatrical and screen worlds until he became a go-to actor for the Brits in the 2010s.

The Hot Priest is finally getting his leading man moment in the film All of Us Strangers written and directed by gay British director Andrew Haigh. You may remember Andrew Haigh as the director behind the film Weekend.

Man Crush Monday: Andrew Scott

Andrew is fabulous in All of Us Strangers, but that shouldn't be a surprise. He is a truly terrific actor. A camera could be trained on his face for a full 90 minutes and tell a riveting story. He is subtle, emotional, and internal. It's rare to see actors so good that you know what they are thinking at the moment. If you couldn't tell, I'm forever blown away by all of Andrew Scott's work!

It helps that he is also very hot. He is also openly gay! Hooray! A gay actor playing a gay role! He is a private person - adding to his allure - but he has stated that he moved out of Ireland early in his career because he felt societally shamed as a gay man and felt that England was more accepting. I think anyone would accept him after watching him and Paul Mescal fall in love in this new movie.

A lot of his nudity comes from his lesser-known works such as The Bachelor Weekend in 2013 where he and a couple of other lads strip down to their skivvies and walk around the woods with their ass cheeks essentially out and about. That's the most we've seen of Andrew's booty despite the fact that he has had sex scenes in Fleabag AND in All of Us Strangers. Come on, Andrew, don't be a stranger. Show us more of that booty!
