Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, we have McG to thank for the presence of Michael Cassidy in our lives. The lean hottie made it to Los Angeles to audition for the movie Superman Returns; while he didn’t get the part, director McG, who was also an executive producer on The O.C., got him an audition for the teen drama. Michael aced it and got the role of Zach Stevens for 19 episodes from 2004-2005, and has been working steadily ever since. In 2005, he starred in the short film Dare as Johnny, and shared his frame and shape in a wet swimsuit, as well as a sexy guy-on-guy scene. (The short was later featured in Boys Life 5 in 2006, and as The Dare Project in 2018, too.) Michael has mostly been seen on the small screen, and has had recurring roles on Hidden Palms in 2007, Smallville from 2007-2008, and a regular gig as Charlie Hogan on Privileged from 2008-2009. He was series regular Tyler in Men at Work from 2012-2014, a comedy where you can admire his giant smile, big laugh, and tumbled locks, which look like they’d be a lot of fun to run your fingers through—just saying. There was also the part of Jonathan Walsh on People of Earth in 2016-2017, and Dr. Ethan Stone in Resident Alien from 2021-2022. On the big screen, his Portland-boy good looks nabbed him the part of Jimmy Olsen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), and he played Sgt. Kelly in Army of the Dead(2021)—both directed by Zack Snyder. Seems like Michael has a way of impressing the hotshot boys…
