Dare (2005)

Mr. Man dares film fans not to become a little titillated while watching the teen flick Dare (2005). Under the direction of Adam Salky, this romantic drama centers around a couple of high school seniors named Ben “Light Boy” (Adam Fleming) and Johnny (Michael Cassidy). As you can guess, the two cute students have a secret crush on each other. When one gives the other a ride home, the boys hook up by the swimming pool. As such, we are treated to views of the dude’s wet pecs when they share a gay smooch in the water. Suffice it to say, the fluid act may make you splash your pants! If their sexy swim isn’t erotic enough, Ben begins to pull off Johnny’s bathing trunks. But just when he’s about to give him a blow job, the guys are interrupted by Alexa (Marla Burkholder) and her friend (Carly Haines) who are strolling around the grounds with two jocks (Matt Lundy and Steve Sweigard). Will they find out what’s going on between Ben and Johnny? They will if they go to film festivals where Dare was screened. In fact, this short film was later remade into the feature-length movie Dare (2008) featuring Alan Cumming, Ana Gasteyer, Ashley Springer, Emmy Rossum, Rooney Mara, Sandra Bernhard, and Zach Gilford. With a well-known cast like this, it’s clear Mr. Salky’s film career is on the rise. And with the flesh flashing from Mr. Fleming and Mr. Cassidy, the members on audience members will probably rise too!
