Native New Yorker Michael Esper was born into the acting business as both his parents were acting teachers. After high school he attended Rutgers University where he studied drama and acting. While he got his start in movies in the early 2000’s, it is his work on Broadway that has garnered him the most attention with starring roles in hit plays like American Idiot and The Last Ship.
