Trust (2018)

Trust us - this series is not to missed! Oscar winning screenwriter Simon Beaufoy's FX miniseries Trust came out back in 2018, which was actually terrible timing considering the Ridley Scott movie All the Money in the World (2017) had just mined the infamous Getty family kidnapping story for box office success only a year earlier. At least this one had Danny Boyle directing a ton of its episodes. Taking a longer look at one of the most salacious and fascinating families in American history - the Gettys, the series is all about the privileged rich kid John Paul Getty III (Harris Dickinson) as he hangs out in Italy with his oil baron grandpa J. Paul Getty (Donald Sutherland) back in the 70's. J. Paul is comically cheap, going so far as to put a payphone in his house for any family members or girlfriends of his who want to use his phone. At first it looks like J. Paul and John are going to get along swimmingly, right up until he turns down the opportunity to go work on an oil rig and learn the industry. Tossed from the mansion and now running with the wrong crowd in Italy, John Paul eventually gets kidnapped by the Italian Mafia who want a hefty ransom. His mom (Hilary Swank) wants J. Paul to just pay the seventeen-million-dollar bill, and his security man (Brendan Fraser) thinks that's probably for the best, too. But J. Paul won't. As the world is flabbergasted at the cheapness of this greedy grandpa, John Paul is continually tortured and even gets his ear cut off while his grandpa tries to lowball his captors. Here at Mr. Man we're mostly concerned with how hot nude men affect our no-no region, and thankfully Trust does not disappoint! The British Beach Rats star Dickinson might not be showing off his Dickinson to get gay this time around, but he does strip down to just his undies, showing off his hot bulge and truly perfect bod! A bit later on, we'll see his rich boy buns as he poses nude for Italy's Playmen Magazine. Bet that photoshoot had some men playing with themselves! Donald Sutherland joins in on the bun fun by baring his distinguished backside while staring in the mirror totally nude. Throw in John Schwab doing some shirtless manual labor and Micheal Esper breaking down while naked on the edge of a bed, and you'll understand why checking out this miniseries is a must. Trust? They should have called it Thrust!
