The Sandman (2022)

The Sandman is a long-awaited television adaptation of the believed comic books of the same name! Netflix delighted fans of the comic books with this critically acclaimed visual feast. And speaking of feasts, we've got quite the meal in Tom Sturridge! He plays the main character in The Sandman, named Dream. Dream, along with his comrades like Death, Desire, and Despair, are in charge of humans, and each has powers that reasonably correlate with their name. This means that Dream is in charge of what happens to us all when we sleep. It's an important balancing act that gets thrown out of whack when Dream is kidnapped by an evildoer. This baddie takes over Dream's job and messes everything up! After Dream escapes his cell, he must work overtime to set things straight.
