With high cheekbones, black hair and a sleek physique, Owen Campbell hardly looks like a Campbell’s soup kid. Yet the fun guy is just as hot as a bowl of cream of mushroom soup. Perhaps that’s why the sizzling dish appeared in Bitter Feast (2010) with brother Tobias. The Campbell kids also popped up in the R-rated crime drama Conviction with Oscar winners Hilary Swank, Sam Rockwell, and Melissa Leo. Uncredited parts in The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) and Lady Gaga & the Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular (2013) followed. But all that changed when the boob tube babe was cast as Clayton Davies in the retro-set series Boardwalk Empire (2013). Recurring roles on the TV shows Alpha House (2013-2014) and The Americans (2014) followed. The up and comer also proved popular as the lead in the indie flick As You Are (2016) since the drama won the Special Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival. After thrilling audiences in the thriller Super Dark Times (2017), Campbell joined Chloë Grace Moretz, John Gallagher Jr., Sasha Lane, and Jennifer Ehle for the teen movie The Miseducation of Cameron Post (2018). But the rising star really made Mr. Man rise with the chiller diller Depraved (2019). Based on Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein, the film stars David Call and Joshua Leonard but the real scene stealer is Owen’s bare back!
