Mark "Red" Mitchell was born in Houston in 1961. Like a quintessential Texan, he was an all-district athlete in three sports: Football, baseball, and basketball. Though this athletic man loved sports, he slowly immersed himself in poetry and theater during high school as well, eventually attending Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, to get his degree in drama. After college, he joined the Screen Actor's Guild and started going by the name Red to honor his father, who was his coach in high school. He had roles in JFK (1991) and 8 Seconds (1994), plus a skintastic part in The Outing (1997), where he went full-frontal and bared his cock, balls, and butt while wearing a horned mask. The curly-headed dream boy unfortunately met his end while crossing a rural railroad in 1994—and we've lamented his loss ever since.
