Rolando Boyce fills us with joy and you'll have the same reaction when you see this sexy stud onscreen. The Chicago native was born and raised in his home city, but he's first-generation Panamanian. As a group Black Latinx man, he has starred in a series of different projects that show off his wide range of roles, but he almost didn't act at all. He originally wanted to study medicine and enrolled in Texas Southern University's pre-pharmacy program. He enrolled in the army and was called away to serve in Desert Storm. It was when he got back that he reevaluated his passions and rediscovered his love for acting. Soon he was appearing on stage at The Goodman Theatre and Black Ensemble Theatre, just to name a few. His breakthrough role came when he earned a part as a cop in the Prison Break as well as Rufus in R. Kelly's cult classic Trapped in the Closet. He has a very stern, authoritative demeanor which is obvious because he has played a lot of cops, sergeants, detectives, and teachers. This rising starlet then appeared in Lights Out (2016), Sam & Cat (2014), Sharp Objects (2018), A Dog's Way Home (2019), Jane the Virgin (2015), and more. His best role yet is as Darnell in The Chi (2019). He wears a towel around his waist in one scene that shows him shirtless in a locker room. Look at those sweet and sweaty pecs. How hot!
