The mysterious and handsome Saamer Usmani grew up in Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Hong Kong, Massachusetts, and went to college in Canada. A true global citizen's whose face we'd sit on. In college Saamer found his love of acting, which led to him studying the craft at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art before doing theater in Canada. Saamer's firm body first got our blood pumping as a gas station attendant on an episode of The Firm, before moving on to episodes of Nikita and Covert Affairs. Saamer's first recurring role came as the sexy Spanish pirate Martin de Lambert on Netflix's period drama Reign, before he headed to Succession and hooked up with Shiv Roy as a dumb actor she cheats on her husband with. In 2019, Saamer's career really took off when he landed the role of Avery Watkins on Netflix's Renee Zellweger led noir thriller What/If. In one episode, we see him shirtless as he makes out with a woman on a couch. What if the camera kept rolling as the action continued? We'll always wonder. He had us swooning as Prince Errol Swoon on the CW's short lived Riverdale spinoff Katy Keen, especially when we see him shirtless with Lucy Hale as he's changing clothes. With every piece of fabric he took off we were keen to see him take off another. On the big screen he was Arjun in The Mauritanian (2021) but most recently Saamer has been playing Anna's boyfriend Chase Sikorski on Netflix's true story drama about the fake socialite who finessed Manhattan's richest out of millions, Inventing Anna. That scammer's in the slammer but Mr. Usmani is still on the big and small screens. Here's hoping Saamer Usmani gives us-many more years of sexy skin scenes!
