We follow an aspiring young lawyer who has been living and working in Edinburgh (that's Scotland, sweetie) wants to marry a man who belongs to a very conservative and powerful family. They are pretty much THE Scottish family cause her bae belongs to the infamously wealthy Macdonald clan. Things are turned upside down for her when she discovers that her very Spanish grandmother is about to marry her friend. Not just any friend. Her "female friends". That is when she finds out that her grandma is a lesbian which is news that her fiance's family would never approve of. She now has to juggle her grandma's new sexual life while learning about acceptance and love for her own self. This is a very sweet gay story!
