Our Staff Picks column is a new addition that takes you back to a time when video stores reigned supreme and the "Staff Picks" section was the place to find out what films were worthy of one's time. Of course, our version has a decidedly nude angle, as we suss out which films from a certain genre with great nudity. This week: biopics!
The biopic has been very popular in recent years, but it has consistently been a pretty sure-fire awards movie ever since the dawn of Hollywood. It also tends to give us great nudity when some subjects of biopics lead more salacious lives. Let's check out some of the hottest biopics with nudity you need to see.
The Doors
Oliver Stone's 1991 biopic about The Doors remains one of the finest biopics in decades. Val Kilmer took on the role of Jim Morrison to perfection. He moved like him. He sang like him. He brooded like him. Most importantly, he undressed like him. We saw his ass in aerial views several times as well as shots of Val Kilmer's ass in a G-string thong.
Lennon Naked

It is mostly inspired by the music and vibes that Dylan has lived over the years rather than telling his story, but it is an impressive film with a cast of characters playing Bobby that includes hottie Ben Whishaw, Richard Gere, and even Cate Blanchett.
Heath Ledger shows his hog while Bruce Greenwood gives us all wood with his muscular peach. I'd love to be right there with these folk foxes!
Curiosa
These biopics aren't just about musicians - some are about writers, too. You might know Curiosa as a super sexy movie, but you may not have realized that it was about the lives of writers Pierre Louÿs and Marie de Régnier. The 19th-century writers explored sexual freedom together, even bringing other lovers into their erotic sphere, all in the name of pleasure and inspiration.
