Our Staff Picks column takes you back to a time when video stores reigned supreme and the "Staff Picks" section was the place to find out what films were worthy of one's time. Of course, our version of Staff Picks has a decidedly skintillating angle, as we suss out which films from a particular subgenre are the best to find great nudity. This week let's cover one of the best kinds of films to watch in September: College Movies.
By this week, everyone is probably fully back to school. Colleges have resumed and are filled with hopeful college co-eds with their entire futures ahead of them...and a lot of sex and partying accessorizing their busy class schedules. Let's get into the school spirit with these extra sexy college movies:
Van Wilder - Freshman Year
This one goes to all you freshmen out there! Jonathan Bennett plays Van Wilder who begins his college career at Coolidge College where he is overwhelmed by the sex, drinking, and partying on campus. The freshmen go all in on going to parties where they see dudes stripping down naked and having a great time.
Two fellas even get tied together against a tree while nude. I'm just glad the National Lampoon gang is giving it the college try.
College
The title says it all. This 2008 comedy follows three high school seniors who go on a college visit, visiting a campus that they are prospectively interested in. While they stay on campus that weekend, they learn a lot...about naked dudes being incredibly nude. Seriously, these college movies make it look like guys are constantly going nude. No wonder so many people "experiment" in college.
Gary Owen gets nude for body shots, Deejay Buras shows off his cheeks in assless jeans, and Zach Cregger is nudely duct-taped to a prominent statue on the college green. These boys get an A+ for nudity!
Old School
This 2003 comedy takes grown adult men back to school (not in the Rodney Dangerfield type of way). Will Ferrell leads a pack of middle-aged comedy studs back to school when they decide to change their lives and buy a house on frat row to join in on the college shenanigans. What exactly do they do? Party and streak. All the time.
"We're going streaking!" is the most commonly quoted line in this movie and it is followed by naked Will Ferrell running through the streets.
The Rules of Attraction
Let's get a little more dramatic. This 2002 movie is an adaptation of the classic Bret Easton Ellis novel that takes place at a fictional liberal arts college in New England. We go deep into messy relationships, drugs, crime, and first loves as James Van Der Beek plays a drug dealer who is responsible for some pretty bad stuff. He does have a gay scene with Ian Somerhalder which is very hot, but we don't see too much.
We do see Kip Pardue's penis for a moment in a shady scene. We are attracted to that cock!
