For today's Throwback Thursday, I wanted to give a shoutout to former heartthrob Ryan O'Neal. The tanned and toned sexpot was a viable leading man in the 1970s, so he is the perfect candidate for a #TBT spotlight. Let's shine that spotlight on him then!
Ryan was everyone's dreamboat when he starred as the preppy love interest in 1970's tragic romance Love Story. He never went nude in that movie, but he definitely did take a shower that showed off his wet biceps. He followed that role up with a look at his boxers in 1972's comedy What's Up, Doc? in which he co-starred with Barbara Streisand.
Ryan O'Neal's best work came in 1982's Partners in which he showed off his ass. This cheeky comedy about cops who investigate a slew of murders where the victims are all gay men, so Ryan goes undercover. It's not the most PC movie which probably is no surprise to anyone reading that plot, but it does give us our first glances of Ryan's rump in a movie. That is something to celebrate!
