While these days he's probably best known as the father of the youngest acting Oscar winner ever, Tatum O'Neal, back in the day Ryan O'Neal was a sex symbol with a boxing toned body that had us drooling whether on screens big or small. The son of a screenwriter, Ryan grew up boxing in LA before moving to Munich, Germany where he went to high school. Eventually his mom pulled some strings to get him some acting work. He made his screen debut in a 1960 episode of The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, then appeared in one episode of almost all the biggest shows of the 1960's. Ryan really became a star in 1964 when he landed the role of the Baracuta jacket wearing playboy Rodney Harrington on Peyton Place. That success led to him landing the lead as Ali Mcgraw's Harvard hockey star boyfriend Oliver Barrett IV in Love Story (1970). Ryan earned an Oscar nomination in the monster hit movie which became a cultural icon. We loved seeing Ryan's boxer bod in the shower. The most recent big work he's done was when he played the fugitive we want to jump our bones, Max Keenan on Bones. In his private life, things were pretty tumultuous. He was famously in a long lasting relationship with Farrah Fawcett. Just thinking about the two beautiful people gets our panty faucet dripping. These two were the pinnacle of panting, and to see them together was to risk cardiac arrest. He shot at his son in what he claims was self-defense, was on a reality show about reconnecting with Tatum, dealt with a bad drug addiction, and had to fight off two different cancers. We prefer to remember the good times, when Ryan O'Neal showed up on screen and gave us the big O!
