The Bachelorette (2003-)

The logical spinoff of ABC’s long-running reality dating series The Bachelor, The Bachelorette finds a new single lady to simultaneously canoodle with multiple men every season, trying to narrow down the dating pool to that one special someone they want to spend the rest of their life with. In season 21, it’s Jenny Tran’s turn to find love, with a limo unloading dozens of nervous suitors desperate to make a good first impression, which for Jenny means presenting an air of vulnerability underneath those cheesy smiles and manly facades. At one point, Jenny introduces the contestants to some Australian exotic dancers called Thunder From Down Under and has them teach her wannabe mates some moves. While no one delivers the Full Monty, Devin Strader comes awfully close with his heavily-censored bethonged booty shaking. We love a confident king who throws his ego aside for love… and an invested audience!
