A far cry from Sons of Anarchy, The Bastard Executioner (2015) is another TV drama from the one and only Kurt Sutter. This time, motorcycles and leather jackets are traded out for horses and chain-mail, and our protagonist is a soldier-turned-executioner named Wilkin Brattle (Lee Jones). A divine messenger leads him to his new profession, where he struggles to understand his mysterious, mystical destiny amid the veritable Welsh bloodbath that is his new life. Along the journey, he has to juggled the motives of a chamberlain, a baroness, and a mystical healer, played by Sons of Anarchy star Katey Sagal. Delicious model Matthieu Charneau showed off his perfect rear end in the very first episode while he boned another dude in a medieval corridor, which is more than promising. If The Bastard Executioner is anything like SoA, then we expect a lot of skin!
