With a title like The Bride He Bought Online (2015), it probably goes without saying this is a Lifetime movie, this time concerning three teenage girls who run a prank blog and decide to "catfish" the wrong cat. They create a fake profile for an international mail order bride, then rope in a lonely, unstable computer programmer named John. After weeks of deception, they go to the airport to witness his humiliation in person. What they don't realize is that John is deeply disturbed and will continue to exact his revenge on them from this day forward. Though he'll undoubtedly take it one step too far, initially John's retaliation fits the crime, as he hires a buff, baby-faced Randy Blekitas to break the heart of these mean-spirited teens. Randy misinterprets John's intentions however and strips off his shirt and starts unbuttoning his pants assuming he was looking for a male escort. Randy looks good trying to make a living unlike these elaborate pranksters with too much time on their hands.
