The Divorce Party (2019)

What’s better than a wedding reception? The Divorce Party (2019)! Not to be confused with the HBO series Divorce (2016-2019), the indie film was shot in Georgia which explains why the men in the cast are hot, hot, hot! Like Brooke Meyers (Jennifer Aniston) and Gary Grobowski (Vince Vaughn) in the rom-com hit The Break-Up (2006), this romantic dramedy kicks off when Nate (Thomas Cocquerel) and Susan (Claire Holt) decide to break up. As such, Nate’s buddies Chad (Todd Lasance), Charlie (James DuMont), Colin (Lane Garrison), Dan (Max Silvestri), and Jake (Mark Famiglietti) throw him a huge — you guessed it — divorce party. But once the balloons are popped, will Nate realize he wants to stay with Susan? If this movie is like many others that were released before, chances are he’s in for a reunion. Although the plot feels like it’s written by the numbers, the flick features a couple of prime figures. In other words, your cocquerel may be aroused when Mr. Cocquerel flaunts his chiseled chest while he struts his stuff in nothing but a towel! If that’s not titillating enough, Nick (Will Brittain) bares his abs as he and Susan get busy in the sack. Once he gets out of bed, the naked babe flashes his firm ass. Now, that’s what we call being overexposed actor! In fact, director Hughes William Thompson makes sure that what his low-budget film lacks in funds, he makes up for in flesh. Needless to say, we’d love to attend this party!
