Biography

Torrey Laamar Belcher is an American actor and singer. Born August 8, 1991 in North Carolina, he attended Kings Mountain High and later studied at Cleveland Community College and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He performed in school plays in high school, including the lead role of the Cat in the Hat in Seussical. Torrey made his film debut in the independent film Blackbird (2014), co-starring with Oscar-winner Monique and Isiah Washington. The film is about a young man struggling with his sexuality in a small, deeply religious town. Torrey filmed the movie while still studying at UNCG. In the film, he's shirtless and pours water over his muscular chest in a scene and kisses a man while shirtless in another.
