Foxy former footballer Vinnie Jones is an imposing Englishman who moved from the sports arena to show business. Since kicking ass (and balls) for Wimbledon, Leeds United, Sheffield United, Chelsea, and Queens Park Rangers, the built babe parlayed his tough guy image into big (Escape Plan) and small (Galavant) screen gigs. Even though Vin is typically cast as violent criminals, audiences have the ability to separate the actor from his character. Granted, it would be better if we had the ability to separate the actor from his trousers! After Guy Ritchie cast him in the British flicks Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and Snatch (2000), Mr. Jones appeared alongside Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie in the action movie Gone in 60 Seconds (2000). The strapping stud also lent his super presence to superhero titles, playing Juggernaut in the blockbuster X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) and Brick on the TV series Arrow (2015-2018). Standing at 6’ 1”, Vinnie has stretched his talents across various genres, from biopics (Kill the Irishman) to musicals (The Ballad of G.I. Joe) and animated flicks (Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted). In addition to revealing his sense of humor in the comedies Mean Machine (2001), EuroTrip (2004), She’s the Man (2006) and Year One (2009), he’s exposed his dark side in the horror films Fractured (2013), Reaper (2014) and Way of the Wicked (2014). Next came the chiller diller Blood Trap (2016) featuring Drew Kenny, Gianni Capaldi, Costas Mandylor, and Vin’s impeccable pecs. Nothing scary about that!
