Biography

Italian stallion Vittorio Mezzogiorno is an actor best known for his work in Three Brothers (1981), The Wounded Man (1983), and Scream of Stone (1991). Vittorio was born on December 16, 1941 in Cercola, Campania, Italy and died of cancer on January 7, 1994 in Milan, Italy at the age of 52. He was married to actress Cecilia Sacchi. Vittorio studied medicine and law at university as a young man before turning to acting, joining the acting troupe of Eduardo De Flippo. Vittorio made his film debut in Il caso Pisciotta (1972), directed by Eriprando Visconti. In 1990, Vittorio won a Ciak d’Oro for his role in Scream of Stone. Vittorio has also won a posthumous Mr. Man award for Best Full Frontal Nudity in The Wounded Man. In the film, Vittorio bares it all for a sex scene with another burly man.
