Just before starring in Twilight (2008) and becoming an international heartthrob, Robert Pattinson starred as a young Salvador Dali in Little Ashes (2008). In the film, it's 1922 and Salvador is still a teenager when he starts his first day at an art school in Madrid. At first, he's part of a trio of close friends consisting of him, the poet Federico Garcia Lorca (Javier Beltran) and the filmmaker Luis Bunuel (Matthew McNulty), but soon enough Luis feels like the third wheel, so he takes off for Paris and leaves Luis and Salvador all alone. Do they bone? Well, in the movie they do. The movie has Federico becoming obsessed with Salvadore, Sal himself doing some crossdressing, and the pair eventually becoming a couple until Salvadore embraces fascism and leaves his being gay days behind. In real life? While there's no doubt Federico was both a friend of Dorothy and over the top obsessed with Salvadore, but Dali was terrified of STD's and claims Federico and him tried to fornicate once. Supposedly, it went poorly so they stopped before anything really happened. What's the truth? Truth is, we don't care since the movie lets us see R-Patz doing it with Javier! First, Dali is creeping in the corner jerking off while his buddy Federico has sex with a lovely Spanish woman. But before long, the dude who did the painting of the melted clock is touching Federico's cock while they both skinny dip, although most of the good stuff is hidden. Not as hidden as when Dali does the mangina in a woman's wig, but still hidden. We'll see both shirtless and screwing on the floor, which, I mean, do we need to say anything more? Federico was a fine piece of ass, who ended up assassinated while Dali was queer like weird, but never openly queer until his death. Those two hotties' bodies in Little Ashes will persist in your memories!
