If you were a nobody mistaken for a famous author, would you go along to see where the ruse takes you? That's exactly what Michael Shannon's character does in the comedy A Little White Lie. He's a handyman who shares the last name Shriver with a famous but reclusive author. Kate Hudson is a professor at a college who organizes a literary festival each year. She taps Shriver (our Shriver, not the Shriver) to appear at the festival, and Shannon's Shriver must hilariously try to keep up with the collegiate literary circle as he pretends to be a famous author. What will they think of next? A Little White Lie turned out to be a real page turner, because we get to see the always-sexy Michael Shannon shirtless in bed! But we want to see his book worm! Michael Shannon is one very sexy man, and that ain't no lie.
