One True Loves (2023)

Based on the best-selling book of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid, One True Loves (2023) is the weepy film adaptation guaranteed to get you feeling the pangs of Man-opause! For their one year anniversary, couple Emma (Hamilton's Phillipa Soo) and Jesse (Luke Bracey) are torn apart when Jesse is presumed dead following a helicopter crash. Sam (Simu Liu) is there to offer comfort for Emma and, eventually, the two become romantically involved. On the night Sam is going to propose, however, his plans are interrupted when Jesse is found alive! What's a girl to do, especially when the men fighting for affections are Simu Liu and Luke Bracey, both of whom go shirtless in the flick, as does Cooper van Grootel, playing the younger version of Bracey's character in a flashback!
