Tequila RePasado (2023)

The high concept Mexican comedy Tequila Re-Pasado (2023) involves one of the wackier time travel premises we've come across in quite some time! Sebastián Zurita stars as Dany, a workaholic and alcoholic, whose increasingly erratic behavior is attributable to the magic tequila he recently drank that sends him back in time to specific moments in his life that he messed up to give him a second chance to make things right. Unfortunately for Dany, he's only making things worse and it isn't long before there are several clones of him running around. With the magical tequila almost gone, Dany must now find out how to make this whole nightmare stop and set things back to normal! Perhaps the most disappointing thing about this otherwise enjoyable film is the lack of male nudity. Sure, leading man Sebastián Zurita looks great without his shirt on, but we really would've liked to see him without his pants as well!
