After struggling with a physically abusive relationship, Dan is excited to start life anew, but because this is a horror movie and she’s now living in a creepy old Victorian house, things don’t go as planned. All hell breaks loose when she discovers a diary (how many horror movies have old diaries in them?) that belonged, or belongs, to Adaline, a young women accused of witchcraft. After communicating from beyond, the important question is: Is Adaline a good ghost, or a bad ghost?
