Alan Rickman’s towering frame and baritone voice created a commanding air that blew fans away. Better yet, the esteemed Englishman wasn't afraid to shed his threads for his craft! Early on, the London native trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and became a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He then kicked off his film career as Hans Gruber in Die Hard (1988). Needless to say, Rickman has been killing it ever since with indelible performances in Anthony Minghella’s Truly, Madly, Deeply (1991), Ang Lee’s Sense and Sensibility (1995), Richard Curtis’s Love Actually (2003), and Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007). The busy bloke exposed his… sense of humor in the sci-fi spoof Galaxy Quest (1999), the humorous fantasy Dogma (1999), and the crime comedy Gambit (2012) which feature’s his naked T&A! Mr. Rickman also thrilled audiences when he made out with Norman Reedus in the thriller Dark Harbor (1998). If that’s not erotic enough, the film features Alan’s full frontal nudity and bare butt when he jumps off a boat! Of course, the actor is best known as Snape from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter films (2001-2011). Sadly, Alan died in 2016 but during his lifetime he won a BAFTA for playing the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991) and Golden Globe/Emmy/SAG Awards for his titular portrayal in Rasputin: Dark Servant of Destiny (1996). Most notably, Empire magazine ranked Mr. Rickman as one of the 100 Sexiest Stars in film history!
