Albert Dupontel is a French actor and film director. He began his career as a stand-up comic, but the French are not know for their sense of humor as much as their sexiness. The decision to move from behind the mic to behind the camera was a good one, as his film Bernie (1996) won the Grand Prize at the 9th Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival, whatever that is. But we prefer his work in front of the camera, where we can eyeball the brooding handsomeness of his physique, never more exposed than in The Prey (2011), an action-thriller about bank robbers. He’s a shirt robber, shirtless and sexy in one scene that you can take all the way to the sex bank.
