The super sexy Alexander D'Arcy was an Egyptian actor who became a true international sensation. He was born Alexander Sarruf in Cairo, Egypt, and was drawn to performance from a young age. He appeared in 45 films throughout his career which took him from Egypt to France and eventually to Hollywood (where he claimed to be a French man with Egyptian nationality). He moved to France and even acted in some early Alfred Hitchcock films like 1928's Champagne. He started his career in 1927 and acted until 1973 when he appeared in the German series Tatort. How did he get over there?! His most notable work includes roles in How to Marry a Millionaire (1953) as J. Stewart Merrill, Soldier of Fortune (1955) as Rene, Another Thin Man (1939), The Awful Truth (1937), Stolen Holiday (1937), Flight to Fame (1938), Marriage is a Private Affair (1944), Fanny Hill (1964), and Blood of Dracula's Castle (1969) as Count Dracula himself. See? He has really done it all and you have definitely seen him in one of these wonderful films. He was hottest in a 1960 creature feature that showed off his shirtless and glistening chest. He plays Gary Webster in Horrors of Spider Island in which he is super sexy and buff. He looked like a total stud, but his star didn't quite take off in America as he hoped. He passed away in Hollywood in 1996 on April 20th (420!), but he left behind this hot legacy for all of us to enjoy.
