Baires (2015)

After playing for the Argentinian National Team of Handball, the sporty actor Germán Palacios played Nacho in Baires (2015). The television movie also includes Benjamín Vicuña, Carlos Belloso, Juana Viale, and Clara Kovacic in her small screen debut. Under the pen and direction of Marcelo Páez Cubells, this crime flick shows us what happens when a romantic vacation turns into a nightmare. The action kicks in after Matea (Benjamín Vicuña) and Trini (Sabrina Garciarena) decide to take a holiday in Argentina. All too soon, they are kidnapped by a drug trafficker (Palacios) and his gang who force Mateo to carry cocaine to Spain. As you can guess, the thugs hold Trini hostage to ensure her man delivers their stash. Will the criminals actually let Trini and Mateo go? Or do they have more nefarious plans in store? Also known as El espejo de los otros (which translates to The mirror of others), this foreign film provides dialogue in Spanish. Yet when El Mono (Rodrigo Guirao Díaz) flashes his abs, there’s no need to read any subtitles! Luckily for us, the sexy stud puts a thrill into this thriller when he bares his muscular back while in the sack with his co-star Ms. Garciarena. But since they’re in a TV movie, Mr. Díaz’s chest is the only exposed body part that we are allowed to see. In other words, no booty. Nevertheless, we wouldn’t mind if he kidnapped us. Long story short: if being hot is a crime, consider Rodgrigo guilty as charged!
