Terminator: Dark Fate (2019) decided to forget every Terminator sequel other than Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991), only for fans of the franchise to do their best to erase this flick from their memory banks. Why? Well, the film kicks off with John Connor (Edward Furlong) getting wasted by a Terminator on a Mexican beach back in 1998. Needless to say, fans weren't big fans of that move that seemed to erase the entire point of one of the most beloved action movies of all time. Enter Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes), a Mexican factory worker being hunted by a liquid terminator called Gabriel (Gabriel Luna). Dani's supposed to give birth to the savior of humanity who will stop an AI entity called Legion, not Cyberdyne, from taking over the world. Dani's got no shot, except that super soldier Grace (Mackenzie Davis) has been sent from the future to help her out, and an old Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) has been globetrotting the world, killing Terminators wherever they pop up. This duo likely can't take out the Terminator himself, so they end up recruiting Carl (Arnold Schwarzenegger), the Terminator that killed John but has been stuck in our time ever since. Over the years he's come to love humanity and is now more man than machine. Can this ragtag squad stop Gabriel, and do their best to prevent Legion from destroying humanity? Even though fans were upset that this one changed all sorts of franchise rules, there was one rule the film stuck with: the one that makes us sticky! Yes, all Terminators make their way to the present totally nude, which is why we get to see Gabriel Luna's Rev-9 model descend naked from the ceiling to show off his lean figure. He's partially CGI, so don't get too excited. Still, there's a little side-butt to make you say "baby got back" instead of "I'll be back!" Other than Gabriel, the other sex machine in the film is Diego Boneta, who says "hasta la vista" to his shirt during a changing scene that'll have you incapable of resisting his advances! The future is what you make it, and Mr. Man really wants to make it with the fellas from Terminator: Dark Fate!
