The Shadow Effect (2017)

Mr. Man learned everything about cause and effects from the movies. Ashton Kutcher taught sci-fi fans about The Butterfly Effect (2004) as did Eric Lively in The Butterfly Effect 2 (2006). Mr. Kutcher also enlightened audiences on relationships in the drama Personal Effects (2009). Since then, we discovered some dark mysteries by watching Mark Duplass in The Lazarus Effect (2015) and Charlie Hofheimer in The Mandela Effect (2019), before solving killer crimes with Ulrich Thomsen in The Marco Effect (2021) and Harvey Keitel in Paradox Effect (2023). Of course, we were thrilled with the thriller The Shadow Effect (2017) due to the comely cast which includes handsome hunk Cam Gigandet, the lean and lovely Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and the stoic sexiness of Michael Biehn. This indie flick is about a regular Joe — actually his name is Gabriel Howarth (Gigandet) — who believes he’s an assassin programed by the people near and dear to him. One of these people is his psychologist Dr. Reese (Meyers) who is more of a hinderance than a help. At least, Gabe’s wife Brinn (Brit Shaw) is more supportive. The proof is in the poking! When the hubby with a chubby bones his spouse in a standing missionary position, we can ogle his bare back and ass crack! Despite the fact that critics were far from thrilled with this science fiction thriller, flesh fans will appreciate the skin it delivers since Mr. Gigandet proceeds to display his naked T&A in other scenes. Now, that’s a special effect!
