The critically acclaimed Vietnamese gay drama Viet and Nam was banned in Vietnam, but not because of all the gay stuff. And there's a lot of gay stuff! It was banned for its negative portrayal of the country. Viet and Nam is about the two titular young miners who form a deeper bond while working tirelessly under grueling conditions. Their story of finding love in a hopeless place resonated with critics. Viet and Nam received raves at the Cannes Film Festival before making its North American debut at the Toronto International Film Festival. Việt (Dào Duy Bảo Dinh) and Nam (Pham Thanh Hài) find themselves haunted by those who have perished in the mines before them, including one of their fathers. Sure, it's a dark movie, but the boys find time for some levity... in their pants! It's a little hard to tell who is topping who in this sex scene, as it starts with some heavy petting before cutting to Pham Thanh Hài fully naked with a load on his stomach. Dào Duy Bảo Dinh is the one wiping up the cum, but we aren't sure who stuck their canary in the coal mine, if you catch our drift. No matter. Viet and Nam delivers the awesome nudity and hot chemistry we crave in our indie gay movies. Nam? More like nom nom nom!
