Dreaming Grand Avenue (2020) is a film set in the windy city about two people who have never met in real life, but they keep meeting in their dreams. Both of them, Maggie and Jimmy, have experienced devastating losses in their lives which make their difficult dream experiences make sense. That being said, they truly do not know each other. Jimmy hires a "dream detective" to help him find what is happening. This film uses dreams to explore the ways in which we carry our traumas with us and how everyone is ultimately experienced even if we are all actually disconnected. Maggie and Jimmy try to work their way through their pain and they find that this might be about a lot more about their issues. They might be cosmically connected for real.
