Deadly Illusions (2021)

Deadly Illusions (2021) is a drama from writer and directed Anna Elizabeth James and it follows Kristin Davis (of Sex and the City fame as the one and only Charlotte, you likely remember) in a thrilling role as a female writer who is suffering from a bad case of writer's block as she tries to finish her next novel. She hires a nanny to watch her kids so that she can better focus on her writing and get more inspiration. However, her source of inspiration might be too close and she begins to blur the lines of reality between what she is writing about in her new novel and what is actually real. How much is fiction? Does what she writes come true or is she delusional? You will have to watch it to find out more, but in the meantime, you can enjoy the hunky lifelong-crush Dermot Mulroney as Tom Morrison. He steps into the shower in a lengthy scene that shows us his burly barrel chest after he disrobes and then gets into a shower with glass doors. Then he gets under the water and starts watching before Greer Green comes in and pretends to seduce him. It's a trap, Dermot! She's going to kill you! Spoiler alert: she does just that. She stabs him, but not before we can catch a glimpse of Mulroney's rear. That is no illusion, my dears. That is Dermot's actual derriere and he is looking finer than ever. That ass is definitely something worth writing home about!
