When we first meet the couple, Adrienne (Sienna Miller) and Matteo (Diego Luna), they initially look like any couple with a brand spanking new infant in their lives... Tired, easily irritated with the other person, and just not connecting with each other.  So we see them going on a "date night" to try and keep the fire alive in their relationship because they are hanging on by a thread as a couple.  That's when a mild argument in the car spirals into a horrific car accident and when the blinding lights fade, we see Adrienne standing over her own body on the slab at the hospital.  Is she dead?  Is she a ghost wandering through the world now as her husband tries to pick up the pieces of a shattered life as a newly widowed father?  Or is she alive and just coping with trauma in a different way?  As she begins to piece together the history of her relationship with Matteo, she toggles back and forth through the timeline of them falling in love, with disjointed memories fading in and out.  As the story of their past come to light, they talk about how certain pivotal moments in their love life are remembered differently by each other and who is to blame for where they ended up?  This is a bit of Ghost (1990), The Sixth Sense (1999), and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) all rolled into one a bit, but with an absolutely A+ scene of Diego Luna's caboose in bed with Sienna and he's still got it like the early days of his career!  Diego is the kind of hottie that when you die and you relive your memories in a fluid dream like sequence of events, you're going to have to stop and jack off at the memory of that booty of his!
