In Good Luck Chuck (2007), true love is a blessing and a curse. After turning down the sexual advances of a Goth chick (Sasha Pieterse) when he was a young boy back in the 80's, Chuck Logan (Dane Cook) gets a curse placed on him by the jilted girl. The curse dictates that Chuck will never be happy, and that any girl he has sex with will find true love and marry the next guy she meets. When one of Chuck’s ex-girlfriends declares him a good luck charm at her wedding, he begins to reap the sexual benefits of this announcement. Every woman in America want to jump his bones so she can jump the broom soon after! Plus, Chuck's a good....screw. It's great at first, but sex gets boring for Chuck, and he begins to crave that one true love. A dentist, Chuck falls for Cam Wexler (Jessica Alba), a cute and clumsy penguin caretaker with a chipped tooth. The problem is, if Chuck has sex with her, she'll leave him and marry someone else! Chuck and his bud Stu (Dan Fogler) decide they've gotta track down the goth chick and see if she'll reverse the curse so Chuck can live happily ever after!
