Breaking News in Yuba County (2021) was directed by Tate Taylor and follows a suburban housewife played by Alison Janney whose husband dies under, well, mysterious circumstances we'll say. She decides to stage a kidnapping, so she lets the public know that her dead husband has been kidnapped. She made the mistake of alerting the media first which makes her status as a local celebrity grow and grow. Do you know what else grows? The police's suspicion of her. As her sister, played by Mila Kunis, asks in the trailer: who would kidnap Karl? Who indeed? You will have to see the movie to see exactly what happens, but trust us when we say that it is a wild ride from hilarious start to finish. This is a star-studded cast that includes everyone under the sun like Awkwafina, Samira Wiley, Wanda Sykes, Regina Hall, Jimmi Simpson, Ellen Barkin and Keong Sim just to name a few. Of course, the best guy we are saving for last. Matthew Modine plays the "missing man", but you cannot miss him in this movie. He plays Karl Buttons who looks as cute as a button when he is laying on the floor of the couple's bedroom on his stomach. Yes, he is knocked out and dead, but his ass is good enough for us to check out. Alison takes his hand and holds it, letting us hold on to yet another look at Modine's ass.
