Someday crooks are going to be smart enough to leave Liam Neeson's kids alone, but until then he'll keep kicking ass in his quests for parental vengeance. In 2014 Norwegian director Hans Peter Moland directed the Norwegian flick about a pissed off papa In Order of Disappearance. In 2019, he directed the American, English-language remake Cold Pursuit (2019). In the remake, Liam Neeson stars as Nels Coxman, a snowplow driver in Colorado whose airport baggage handler son (Liam's actual son Micheal Richardson) is murdered by a drug cartel led by Trevor Calcote (Tom Bateman) for botching a smuggling job. Needless to say, Nels can't let that stand. After killing the people responsible and yeeting their bodies over a waterfall, Nels decides he should work his way up the ladder and kill everyone involved in the cartel. How's he gonna do that without a special set of skills? In large part by creating a gang war between Trevor's crew and a Native Ute gang led by White Bull Legrew (Tom Jackson). When Nels has Taken (2008) his revenge, there are going to be a whole lot of criminals lying face down in the frozen dirt! As for the dirty stuff, Liam doesn't go nude in this film, but Tom Bateman and Gus Halper go shirtless to give us that fix. Gus is lying in bed watching the tube in nothing but a towel, while Tom hops out of a bubble bath before lying in bed in nothing but a towel. Maybe it's a Norwegian thing. Either way, Mr. Man would love to blow...some snow with those gentlemen. Meanwhile, Domenick Lombardozzi and Benjamin Hollingsworth hold hands and make out in the car. These guys are revving our engine! You'll be dying to plow all the hot dudes in Cold Pursuit!
