The autobiographical novel Pase libre – la fuga de la Mansion Seré by Claudio Tamburrini comes to life in the Argentine flick Chronicle of An Escape (2006), also known as Buenos Aires, 1977. Israel Adrián Caetano’s crime movie will pull you… into the dark world of corrupt power. When a prisoner (Martín Urruty) being tortured wrongly accuses soccer goalie Claudio Tamburrini (Rodrigo de la Serna) of being a revolutionary, the government kidnaps him and holds him for months. While imprisoned, Claudio is tortured every day. Like his fellow inmates, he is stripped (and spanked) so he cannot escape. Of course, it is awful for them, but awfully arousing for us since we get to view a bunch of nude dudes. In one scene, Claudio and El Vasco (Matías Marmorato) bare their beautiful bods while El Gallego (Lautaro Delgado) shows off his hairy butt and bush. In another scene, the three amigos serve up some PBJ (Pubes, Buns and Junk) when they must stand in a line sans clothing. If being sexy is a crime, consider these arresting thespians guilty as charged! Not to be outdone, Guillermo Fernández (Nazareno Casero) also struts his stuff in the buff. When the men eventually try to escape, they slide down a rope while completely naked. No wonder, the pic picked up the Silver Condor Award for Best Film, was Argentina’s entry for the Golden Globes’ Best Foreign Language Film category, and won us over. Spoiler alert: the captured cuties get away, just as you’ll get off!
