Mercy (2000)

Lord have mercy, we love looking at the manly cast in Mercy (2000). Based on the same-named novel by David L. Lindsey, this erotic drama follows Detective Cathy Palmer (Ellen Barkin) who is following a serial killer. Soon, she discovers that all of the victims belong to a secret S&M club for women. Cathy learns a lot from Vickie Kittrie (Peta Wilson), who is a member of this club. She’s also a lesbian so the two have some fun. As her investigation goes deeper, Cathy suspects therapist Dr. Dominick Broussard (Julian Sands) might be up to no good. We can’t say if he’s the killer, but we can conclude he’s one kinky dude. For example, he instructs his patient (Karen Young) to tie him up and pretend he’s her mother. As such, she feasts on his flesh before taking out a knife. Not to be outdone, a mechanic (Stephen Baldwin) has some rough sex with Cathy just 15 minutes into the movie. Even though they’re in a darkly-lit room, the headlights on passing cars illuminate the skintastic action so we can see Mr. Baldwin’s bare back and spankable booty. Suffice it to say, he adds thrills to this thriller! If that’s not arousing enough, minutes later a man in the bathroom (Alex Ross) struts his stuff in the buff. In fact, we get a helping of PB&J — pecs, butt and junk! This flick earned an R rating for its language, drug use, nudity, and perverse sexual behavior. What a great endorsement!
