The magical Benoit Magimel is a French actor who got his first movie role at the ripe old age of 14, and has worked steadily ever since. He even quit going to school as a sixteen year old, since he knew there was no point studying history or math, when you've got the kind of face and body people can't take their eyes off of. That's quite the dice roll, but two Cannes Film Festival "Best Actor" awards later, and it looks like it was the right call. Benoit made his screen debut in the switched at birth black comedy Life is a Long Quiet River (1989). Thus began a long career in cinema, mostly in French and European movies. The handsome Mr. Magimel moved on to the erotic teen drama The Stolen Diary (1992), then kept it erotic in the period piece about a famous poet and a famous novelist doing the dirty deed Children of the Century (1999). But the sexy movie that won Benoit his first Cannes award, and made him not just a huge star but a recognized top talent in the industry, was the drama about a sadistic piano teacher and the student who is trying to do her, The Piano Teacher (2001). Who wouldn't want Benoit playing with their instrument? After that one, Benoit could take his pick of roles, and went on to star in Errace (2003), The Bridesmaid (2003), Resolution 819 (2008), and For a Woman (2013). But for Mr. Man, those movies didn't have much to offer. Instead, here at Skin Central we preferred Benoit's work in the 2016 television drama Marseille. That one's a drama about a man returning to his hometown as his father lays dying. We've been dying to see Benoit's body, and got a look at his bod in a bathing suit, before he seduces a dude by the pool. He swims a lap, all the viewers fap. It's a win, win! Benoit's still working. He won another Cannes Film Festival "Best Actor" award for the theater professor gets diagnosed with terminal cancer drama Peaceful (2022), and was most recently in the terrorism drama Paris Memories (2022).
