Cannibal Ferox (1981)

Cannibal Ferox (aka Make Them Die Slowly) (1981) is an Italian exploitation/horror film about a woman named Gloria (Lorraine De Selle) who is so convinced all those stories about cannibals in the Amazon rainforest are fake that she's willing to travel to Colombia to prove it. Then she gets attacked by cannibals. Yes, Gloria is a college student who travels with her group of American friends including her brother Rudy (Bryan Redford) and her best buddy Pat (Zora Kerova) to South America to prove the girl's college thesis that cannibalism isn't real. Immediately they meet a drug dealer named Mike (Giovanni Lombardo Radice) who tells her she's one hundred percent wrong, which seems to be confirmed when she disappears after their first night of camping. Ends up, Mike and his gang traveled into the jungle to steal precious gems from the Natives, which is why they're so pissed off and murderous towards visitors. When he gets high on cocaine and decides to murder a Native girl, the Natives go on the hunt and decide to make a meal out of our intrepid anthropologists and their drug dealing guide. While it might not be as well-known as the OG of found footage horror flicks, Cannibal Holocaust (1980), this one's just as brutal. Like that film, this one also features real scenes of animals like pigs being slaughtered. As for the skin, one very gory scene includes Giovanni Lombardo Radice's character being is tied to a tree with his penis and balls exposed before prosthetic versions are hacked off and eaten by the cannibals. Mr. Man wants that thing in his mouth too, but not like that! Sure, it's a nasty flick, but Cannibal Ferox is fun for our cocks!
